Here we are in Georgia

One more day and we will be where we set out to be. Tomorrow will be a shorter drive and will have the prize at the end. Chris and Laura are going to the strawberry festival in Plant City tomorrow so we won't see them on our way by. I tried to call him tonight but we have been having cell problems the past two days. I cannot even explain the problem and so have no role in finding the solution but there were many calls to BellAliant today and hopefully we will be up and running sooner rather than later. And this using these networks at hotels...well that's sometimes a nightmare. For example, I did an entry a half hour ago and lost the whole thing when I tried to publish it so doing it for the second time is a bit uninteresting. This could be short!!

A beautiful day today and a great drive although sometimes it was a bit hairy. Lots and lots of people on the road, all driving as fast as humanly possible. Not as many trucks in the south for a few hours but by the time we hit Georgia, there were plenty of them too. The grass is quite green in places and buds are on some trees, giving them a little green haze. It looks good! By the time we got out of the car it was 12C and that's good too.

Slow news day...we will be in the house by four tomorrow and it will be a busy evening as we get things put away and head to Publix. I will be happy to see just what we bought on line this year, rather sight unseen. So far I haven't done any pictures although I have tried to add some from my tab but it didn't work. I may have to use my digital camera and load them onto this computer and then to the blog. I may need help. I'll be back tomorrow. Thanks for reading and I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. New Beginnings and other redundancies

I love the concept of the quilt blog. I absolutely love it. And I tried it, for awhile, with limited success. After each project was done, it would be photographed and added to my page with a few comments. Over time, I started to realize that this whole blog thing was becoming  bit of a task. Feeling the need to get an entry done 'today'. Finding something interesting to  write about. I found I just didn't have the time to devote to my little project and so I completely neglected it.

I don't know how this is going to be any different but I would like to try again. I guess it will be more of a work in progress than a site to visit, at least for awhile. So here goes... I'll find a couple of hours later today to add some pics of the recent things I've done and see where it goes.
